Why I'm Fundraising
"This really matters to me because ever since I first picked up an instrument, I knew I would love playing in band. I would love to keep playing music on my instrument while not having to worry about expenses that will affect others and my self from playing in something we enjoy doing. I would really appreciate all the help we can get so the Gene Tomas Gator band will prosper and make others say “woah I wanna try out band when i’m older.” I have nieces and all of them are really interested in what I do so I would know lol. The more money our band can raise is the more money that can be used for the greater good of our future and present band. I hope we can use this money to make people feel less pressured about band fees that could go through the roof. So please lend us your support. Thank you. From Seth Weeks"

About Our Campaign
About Us
Our program is home to incredibly dedicated students who spend hundreds of hours each season perfecting their craft. As we enter "Bandtober"—the height of our competitive marching season—our students are representing our community on local, regional, and state stages. To define the standard of excellence both on and off the field, we rely on the generous support of our community. We are currently launching our annual Fall Donation Drive. The funds raised over these weeks are essential to offset the rising costs of custom show design, transportation, bringing in additional clinicians, instructional staff, and so much more. Most importantly, your support ensures we can continue providing students with positive, world-class experiences that shape their character and leadership skills now, and into the future!

Funds also help cover the transportation costs required to safely move hundreds of students, instruments, and equipment to away games, regional events, and state-level competitions.
