Why I'm Fundraising
"Hey, this is Lazer Burdine, my dad’s jimmy Burdine and I am raising money for the McNeil high school marching band. Band is a very expensive activity. Any money donated goes directly to our uniforms, instruments, show design and travel. This year we are going to grand nationals in Indianapolis, which is the most competitive event in the high school band world and it is our first year ever going. And donation helps, but even just your support for our hard work is greatly appreciated."

About Us
The band program supports other organizations, on and off campus, by performing at various locations with a variety of performing ensembles. The Maverick Band strives to provide a world-class experience for its students while creating lifelong memories and friendships. All 200 students perform in the marching band in the fall and they also participate in the nationally recognized Wind Ensemble, the Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, Symphony Orchestra, Jazz Orchestra, and our world-renowned Winterguard. In addition, we have a thriving chamber music program, which includes our award-winning Percussion Ensemble.
