Why I'm Fundraising
"McNeil Highschool Marching Band means a lot to me and I would had never thought to say that but it’s true. When I was first introduced to colorguard I was amazed at the flags and rifle that the members spin. So when I auditioned and tried out. It was harder than it looked and to be honest I wanted to quit, but something inside of me wanted to stay and just trust the process. Trusting my director and members to help me get better and I did! Competition season was hot but also rewarding. I love the bus rides blasting music. And I would love to experience more of that throughout the rest of the years in high school. This fundraiser will contribute greatly to help do cool things throughout the season."

About Us
The band program supports other organizations, on and off campus, by performing at various locations with a variety of performing ensembles. The Maverick Band strives to provide a world-class experience for its students while creating lifelong memories and friendships. All 200 students perform in the marching band in the fall and they also participate in the nationally recognized Wind Ensemble, the Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, Symphony Orchestra, Jazz Orchestra, and our world-renowned Winterguard. In addition, we have a thriving chamber music program, which includes our award-winning Percussion Ensemble.
